In development for half a decade now,
but development still seems active and thriving.

It seems very much in the vein of HLD, but set in a post futuristic universe with more melancholic undertones. I will plan to play both some time. (yes i poor soul didn't get to check out HLD yet :p #isitworth)

Never heard of it. Or maybe i did and forgot about it. It looks right up my alley when it comes to games. So thanks for sharing that.

HLD is pretty much melanchonic and dark. it doesn't shy from extreme gore, mutilation, racism and characters main plot characters dying. It has that beautiful, grotesque vibe to it. Reminds me a bit of EVA 3.33 with some landscapes. This looks more gritty, empty. Certainly not in a bad way. Feels like everything died out a long time ago.

I like how stylized/convoluted the menu interfaces seem. It reminds me of how HLD's UI tried to get as far as it possibly could without using any actual words.

Not really. I backed the kickstarter many years ago and at this point there is no way for it to live up to so much development time and will probably just be a mediocre disappointment.

for a game like HLD coming soon, there's one called "resolutiion" that seems to look and play very similar to it. Many people are complaining that the resemblance is too much but I don't care - I want more from HLD or like HLD, for it brings a special sensation not any other game gives, and the game having "copied"/inspired artstyle doesn't mean it won't have new and good gameplay and mechanics
