stupid caterpillar
So I gave the dumb caterpillar his freaking rings but I can't seem to get any of the possible exits in his room to work. I've clicked both edges of the window, the dumwaiter door thing and the trapdoor right by him and all I get in response is Violett shaking her head at me. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to be doing now? Also the caterpillar keeps showing these amulet pieces or crown molding sections, I'm thinking it's amulet pieces though. Is that just a hint for the future?

It seems you haven't got the three amulet pieces yet - get them first from the library, the playroom and the tub room. You won't be able to proceed without them.

What? O.o I went from the tea pot straight to the caterpillar... did I really miss that much stuff XD

ahhh, the room with the stairway didn't seem to have more than one path, but I got it figured out now..
