Considering how long it's been I'd doubt it, but it'd be an insta buy from me. There's a game very similar to it called skydrift but instead of boats it's planes. I got it for 2 dollars on sale.

when I found out hydro thunder hurricane was released on windows 8 I downloaded the demo right away. Then after playing the same map over and over again I bought the game for 10$. It's really good for what it's worth, but there wasn't any online modes compared to the console version. I still had my fun and got all the boats. I've also contacted vectorunit and told me that microsoft owns the game so it's up to them. I sure wish they'd release it too. Don't care if I gotta go through grinding for boats! Game's a lotta fun! Or maybe vectorunit can release another Hydro Thunder game with improved gameplay and more boats on steam, who knows

If it's up to Microsoft you can forget about it. Microsoft make Windows, Halo and Xbox. But yet, they decided to stop making Halo for PC since Halo 2. They go where the money is and do what they want.

They do what they think makes money. If they went where the money is they'd have their games on pc. I've yet to meet a pc gamer who bought a console because microsoft is too ♥♥♥♥♥ to give us their games.

Yes but there's not much demand for HTH on Steam unforuntely

But hopefully it'll make its way onto steam, since the games already ported to PC

Is the PC version of Hydro Thunder the same graphics as the XBOX 360 one? I haven't played it in so long on 360 but the PC one seems stripped down.

Yea the PC version's graphics are stripped down compared to console. I have the game on it, and anti aliasing is very low and has no shadows. Only video settings there is are just presets and only change the way the water looks.
