manta v scorpion

The manta has a higher racing index but is that just the default? It also seems to have better handling and top speed upgradability. Scorpion seems to have higher boost and acceleration though. These jetskis are huge chunks of change but im leaning towards the Manta, any thoughts?

I did get a Manta, prior to that I was using the lancer I think, great welll balanced jet ski I think. My goal is more 3 stars since I never found any multiplayer games.

Regarding the last part I have the same problem. Have you tried inviting a friend yet?

Shockwave, Lancer, Hammerhead, Scorpion and the Manta are all competitive, the stat differences between them are minor. Just pick your favorite, I use the Shockwave for the most part in my races.

Certain hydrojets work better for certain tracks. I picked up on that in the VR challenge mode.

I wonder which is better? The Manta or the Scorpion? The Manta comes before the scorpion on the list but the Manta seems way better?

its a tough debate, im still experimenting with all of the jets on every track. i do not know if the waves/ water is different every time you ride but i experience a different time on vr almost every round. ofcourse its very close. i just hope it doesnt come down to the scorpion being the "best" jet because of its boost or "index rating" which if it is then i mean i guess asked this too much of this game in depth but i really wanna prove that any of the top 5 er so jets can typically beat any time on a vr challenge.
anyway i wanted to comment on this forum because i love this game almost more than any game i have came across on steam and can not wait for a sequel or a game like this!
please add me i will play with ya anytime i am online!

I dont think the water or waves are different each race no. its the same track Urban Audio Slace. The Manta I think is better than the scorpion due to speed :). The Manta kicks ass :)
