This is the type of close minded gamer that actively sucks the creativity and innovation out of modern gaming. A gamer that think he/she is entitled to dictate what a game is and should be. How sad. Especially when you realize that a lot of gamers think like that...

No, its the developer that insults the inteligence of the player by making a game that is about hats ??? maybe the game is directed to an audience at the ages of 3-10 than maybe there will be a justification for this shallow, no added value whatsoever concept of a game that is about hats. this game is so LUDACRIS that a sketch should be made about it at SNL. what you gonna try and sell us next a game about socks? you have 0 creativity or imagination, thats bad in gaming.

You don't really undestand anything about this medium do you? Who are you to dictate what they make and what they don't? They wanted to make a game about hats, so they did and to be honest it is quite good, fun and it is free and everybody except you are happy :) That is the strength of this medium and art in general, some see more in a picture/movie/game than others and you are free to express yourself in any way you like as a artist.

And no. They don't have the money and man power to make those AAA games shallow gamers like you (sorry, I don't want to insult you) want, so they use the assets and talent they have to create a game that is new and different. That is logical.

Admit it mate, you just don't get the joke ;)

You just proved my point. A lot of people didn't enjoy goat simulator because they didn't see the fun in it (I am one of those people). I respect Goat Simulator and the trailer is downright amazing (It made fun of the misleading Dead Island trailer) and the fact that it was released the 1 april GENIUS! But that is it. Goat simulator was a game that was made as Youtuber bait and nothing more... I respect that you like it and I respect the developers that made it, but I don't enjoy playing it.

You see? You don't get this game and a lot of people don't get Goat Simulator, that is the amazing thing about gaming or art in general :)

LISTEN no one heard of this hats game and no one ever will, and that's a proff that its a failed game, and that says something about the people who made it.

What a convincing argument uuuuuh! It is a failed game? Positive (636) Negative (73) does this seem failed? The majority of people enjoy it. What a stupid point... "no one heard of the game=fail" that was just stupid... I need to facepalm. You have just proven my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ statement, you are shallow, a stereotypical CoD gamer who only want to see AAA games. There are plenty of games that has less notoriety than others yet they far surpass them in terms of design and overall "fun"... and there are games (such as Watch Dogs, Destiny, Elderscrolls Online etc.) that are hyped up to no end and yet they fail to deliver. This game wasn't published by EA, Activision etc. and this game wasn't made by a developer with a huuuuge staff. No. Of course it will have less notoriety... It doesn't have the same marketing budget (or probably any budget at all).

I really do not want to come at you as disrespectful or insulting and I mean that, but man... please... by the love of what ever you keep dear... think... just think...

the fact that we 2 are the only ones on this thread should tell you something.
half of those 600 are crew members that leaves it with 300, half of which i bet never even played the game. 600 is a real low number in games.

I had a discussion with another guy in the Far Cry 3 forums, and no one else interfered. Does this mean that Far Cry 3 is a unknown failure of a game? ♥♥♥♥ no. Unless you would claim that those millions of sales are from devs and publishers? Lol....

People don't care. They simply do not care about a post like this, and those who read this are probably thinking that "meh, just the usual internet stuff...". Or could it be? The fact that this isn't a AAA game or a super known indie game? And all that conspiracy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? You can say that about any game on steam, but even suggesting that this game had 300 crew members behind it is absurd... I mean look at it. The game probably only has 1-3 crew members behind it. Those reviews are from people who actually enjoyed it, wierd right? I think the same about Goat Simulator... Lol....
