That's depending on what you're looking for. I typically go for Carolyn Fern, Dexter Drake, Amanda Sharpe and Darrell Simmons

thanks!

I really like the one lady who has the ability to solve as many things in one go as possible. Too many times I've had enough pieces to solve multiple things yet you have to reroll them all after solving just one.

agreed

Gloria is cool, getting the yellow and red glyths free on portals.

haha i usually use her.

it depens on the campain.

Ithaqua:
Michael McGlen... cause high stamina, can transform horror into peril glyphs ... unbeatable, if u wanna survive the campaign and save Ashley ( btw you don't need any other character to beat the campaign. Use only him, if u had problems to get the last investigator)

Dark Pharao:
Harvey Walters ... same reason as Glen, You'll need good Lore rolls and sanity + u can avoid Dark Pharaohs terror effect.

Cthulhu:
Carolyn Fern ... Cause there is a lot of sanity damage usually

Other Campaigns/Allrounders:
1. Wendy Adams (There is a reason, that she is the last 1 unlocked... ;o), She is awsome! )
2. Jenny Barns (yellow and red glyph in exchange for an common item, clue or spell is really a great deal.
3. Marie Lambeau ... Her skill makes her an very good investigator, if u play her NOT in a team
4. Rita, Kate and Jim cause their skills are usefull in many tasks.
5. The Rest except: Lily, Charlie, Rex and Tony. Beating Ithaqua with those 4 together really is a challenge >D

Jenny. With the red/yellow glyph ability she can beat an Ancient One alone.

Wilson Richards can use the yellow glyph pretty much like a wild card. It's ridicuolous not to choose him.

Jenny Banres can discard an item for both dice regardless of what they are, so discarding an item that gives just the yellow gives you both is a great choice.

Joe Diamond gets to reroll aly clues he uses, so after using a clue you get a second go at it. Great when things get tough.

I'm also a fan of Gloria Goldberg but she only comes into her own during other world adventures when she gets the Red and Yellow glyphs for free.

Kate Winthrop is argueable, she's immune to terror and monsters can't spawn on her turn.

The Problem with Richards is, that u have to have a yellow glyph with him and the yellow 1 has no terror symbol. Furthermore, u can use his skill only once per turn.

The mathematical best Investigator is Wendy Adams. She simply doubles the chances on every task. Unbeatable.

Granted that's one of his drawbacks, careful planning with Richards will keep him stocked with yellows to use and places to use them.

It depends on the game, but I tend to work best when I've got Dexter Drake and Michael McGlen on my team - both virtually and in tabletop. I'm more of a compulsive dice-locker than someone who's going to remember specific character-driven strategies or angles of approach.

i 100 agree

if u like dice-locker strategies u should use jim in your team. I think, he is better than drake.
