Serious Editor 4: Light Problem
I've been studying the program for a few days now, and I've run into a problem with Lights and Shadows.
The fact is that after adding all the elements (Distant Light, Probe Light, PPE) and their settings, the shadows and objects on the map still remain completely black.
I've watched a lot of guides about setting up the light and did everything the same way, but the result did not change.
Most likely, due to the lack of experience, I made many mistakes in the project, so I ask you to tell me what is my problem.
I'm attaching a video with the whole process of adjusting the Lights and Shadows below.
Thanks for your attention!

Did you manage to solve the issue? I'd like to see what's actually baked in the probe and in the lightmap.

I have found the solution.

The problem is Direct3D11 in Editor. You have to change to Vulkan. Tested on Serious Sam 4 Editor and Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem Editor

1. Edit the "Steam/steamapps/common/Serious Sam 4/UserData/Sam4_SeriousEditor/SeriousEditor.ini" file
2. FInd
gfx_strAPI = "Direct3D11";
Replace to
gfx_strAPI = "Vulkan";
3. Save Config
4. Run Serious Editor
5. Bake All (CTRL + SHIFT + B)
6. Done
