Cheat for weapon attachments
cht_bGiveAll does give you all weapon but not all weapon attachments. I just want to goof around with x11 enemies and infinite Death Ray...

Many thanks! Is there any way to hide/minimize the "Cheats enabled:" box? I swear I'm not going to do anything illegal, it just takes too much space.

Never mind, it's also in the menu!

You could run a script to execute cheats. its called a cheat table. Trainers work too.
This will prevent the cheats enabled from being displayed since you aren't enabling them through the game.

If you run MODs than a cheat table is the way to go since you can edit the script to target the Sam4_Unrestricted.exe

btw, this is how I play. Mod enabled with cheat table. In my opinion, best of all worlds.

Alternatively, since you are just looking for a give all + upgrades cheat, there is a Mod in the workshop that does that and more. The NRM(NSKuber's Resource Manager) mod. No cheats enabled so no cheat window on the screen :)

To dev, seems kinda silly we still have to deal with the developer cheats enabled window in unrestricted mode. It already disables achievements.

Lastly, I am aware that the OP marked an answer to the thread before I replied.
I am sharing more info and that's for all who read it, not just OP.

Cheat yourself some infinite ammo too because that death ray melts ammo faster than enemies lol. Playing the last level on x11 is a struggle to maintain ammo. You gotta do some crowd control techniques to kill enemies in an area then be able to push them back to collect ammo, or else you will run out. Some of the most fun Sam gameplay to date.

If you give yourself the perk where enemies drop ammo, you will reciexe 11x the normal amount and with 11x enemies you will have 11x the normal amount of drops. Giving you 121x the ammo (which is essentially unlimited)

Completely agreed. Soemtimes you have to troubleshoot what is wrong with a mod using console commands. No need for the game to tell you your cheating while your playing a modded game lol... It's redundant.

You can hide that window! It's somewhere in cheat options, I believe. No need for mods or anything.

Haha yeah, I did that. Still managed to die a lot in that part of the last level where you're supposed to use the beam.

They did that on purpose. We are supposed to either

1) use different weapons after we run out

or

2) deploy some crowd control techniques that allow us to push back the wave of enemies to pick up the left over ammo when we are getting low.

Pretty genius balance if you ask me. at x11 though you are not able to use anything other than the beam. The cannon is second best and that is not even close enough to out DPS the wave. You can only lose ground with the cannons.

Too bad you can drop down and the enemies will just stay there. But yeah, beam makes cannons look like a joke. I kinda with you'd either get the beam later or the laser proper earlier. With the other guns you want to use both regular and alt fires, but beam almost makes regular laser obsolete, and regular laser is a fun gun with all the buffs it got in 4.

Ya, after I get the beam I never touch the main fire. That is the most satisfying weapon I have ever used though. I did some messing around with it using mods and that weapon is just a FPS players wet dream. The chunking visuals puts every other game to shame. Its more like an amber ocean than amber mist lol.

Sam has some amazing chunking ever since BFE. Remember that part in the last level in the beginning when you get infinite C4 supply and dozens of headless spawn? It's just endless SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT, so satisfying.

I kinda like how the beam has at least one disadvantage though, range. Oh, and I guess it doesn't headshot, but I only ever see it relevant vs. Khnums. Well, and it's less ammo efficient in theory, but in practice I'm sure most people overshoot with the laser since it's not hitscan.

The ammo is its biggest drawback (and normally its quite a big one). But when used in any x11 with the ammo drop perk, the ammo is no issue at all. Giving it very little in terms of drawbacks. The range is finite, but still pretty long. Khnums are difficult for any weapon, so that drawback pretty much close to normalizes. I would say not being able to dual wield is more of a specific drawback to it than not being able to kill khnums swiftly. Even dual cannons are difficult to kill them with swiftly, while dodging.

But ya... SS gets a 10/10 for chunking lol.

I mean, heated up double lasers have crazy DPS (4 times the minigun), but Death Ray outdamages even them WITHOUT taking into consideration that it pierces everything in its way... It's such a ridiculous weapon. I love it.
Dixon Sider Apr 29, 2021 @ 3:00pm
Talking about it makes me want to play a modded game with x11 enemies and the death ray now lol. One enemy that the death ray sucks against though? Witch Brides. I had to swap off the death ray when they came out after the Kleer + Khnum + spider wave where you get the death ray in the last mission.
Sar Apr 29, 2021 @ 3:03pm
Does it not kill them in one cycle? Do they just become invincible when they take a single tick of damage? In BFE you could kill them with minigun, though it was not optimal.
