What the hell is this? You show people that kickass teaser that takes place in a HUGE environment, with Sam charging to attack thousands of enemies, of course people will think they will be fighting those insane amounts of enemies.
Now, that huge level is 90% empty and is mostly just a boring and mediocre driving level.
Either Croteam really wanted to create a true legion system, as advertised, only to fail and not to delay the game any longer, cut it OR they simply lied to attract customers, there is no middle ground.
This was my first pre-order, mostly because it was pretty cheap, and it will be my last, at least from Croteam. This game has serious problems and the (lack of) legion system is only a part of it. They messed it up.
They were never meant to be fought, that wouldn't make sense. If you didn't get it then you have zero critical thinking and you should work on that. That's all.
There are already a lot of places with 100+ enemies at once (not a legion obviously) and you can add even more if you feel like you could actually handle them at once :)
If they never meant to be fought then they were meant to be advertise lie to hype people into thinking they'll play against hordes. Why wouldnt it make sense? How is it different from fighting dozens of enemies? Give us capable weapon, gadet and vehicle such as jetpack/car/mech to quickly reingage and these hordes would've been fightable.
The first and the last.
