I still have Phantasy Star Online for PS2. Fun game.
And PSO2 should be getting released in North america either this year or next on PC
Will definitely be looking at PSO2 when it comes out.

The PSO2 engine calls is Facial Shape Blending. It's very neat.

Though this made me think of a product you could make and could be very popular for indie devs.
A character Model generation system that gets plugged into a game engine (like Leadwerks).
In effect I'd allow indie devs a chance at making character gens in game like Dragon Age series, Elder scrolls series, Neverwinter Nights series, Phantasy Star series, ... etc.
The system would allow for a few different variants of User Interface and Controls for model generation. Takes bvh files to animate. Some many other possible ideas.
