Fuse
Don't use this ♥♥♥♥, Makehuman is better.
makehuman.org is a better tool and it's free since the beggining.

New release candidate looks promising but too small clothing database
Err, how is MakeHuman better than Fuse? Besides the fact that it's free?

One thing was that it didn't need is cloud computing for rigging. (prerigged models with morphs)
Bigger negative thing was "missing" clothing database (few base model). If they fix that then it is about at same level as Fuse 1.3. Current nightly build had few more hair mesh then release but still need more.

If they improve clothing database, support for PBR, and add morph tool then it will be good tool. I hope they have artist who are doing items for makehuman.

Note:
I was just checking state of software. I currently use DAZ and Poser.

Well, the big thing that turns me away from MakeHuman is it's limited import options; the only option it currently has is "Import to Blender". If it added options to import to more programs (Such as Gmod, SFM, 3DSMax, etc.), then I'll try it out.
I wouldn't really say that MakeHuman is better. Fuse has facial morphs that allow you to create a wide range of expressions and mouth movements. MakeHuman doesn't, although it does have some facial bones. All you can do with MakeHuman faces is move the eyelids and eyes and open/close the jaw. There aren't any facial bones for moving eyebrows or shaping the lips to go "ooh," smile, or express disgust.

I've also noticed that MakeHuman rigged meshes that are imported to 3ds Max deform inexplicably when you move the skeleton from one place or another. I'm not even talking about rotating bones here. Simply moving the base bone some distance across the X/Y/Z axis may deform the mesh. Fuse meshes do not exhibit that kind of instability.

Fuse is currently free, so there's no reason not to use it for now. (I'm one of the customers who paid for my copy on Steam, but that's all water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned.) When Adobe starts charging people for rigging Fuse meshes, it's good to know that I can always go back to MakeHuman.

You can export to FBX and import the file to 3ds Max. Not sure about the other programs you mentioned since I don't use them.

Well, I know for a fact that Fuse has the options to import rigged models directly to either Gmod or SFM. I know this because when I type in "Mixamo Fuse" in the Gmod Workshop search bar, I get tons of results (When I type in "MakeHuman", however, I get no results.).

Also, to the OP: have you even seen the MakeHuman models before? They look super ugly, especially in the skin textures and the face.

Did you applied materials for character. In nighly build that have ok base materials for asian, caucasian, and african. Also when I first time in was using I missed almos all face modification parameters because missed to notice selection tool.

Here is test render from nighlybuild with included materials (makehuman-1.1.0-rc2-win32)

Fuse is a great tool, because as a 3d modelor I can add edit, and use the base mesh to sculpt high poly. Fuse Exports and has Seamless intigration into Blender 3ds Maya UE4 And Unity with complex control rigs 2048 textures for skin and clothing, it included specular normals metalic as well as Ao maps for PBS and PBR renders. even better they have premade moton captures that can be customized for your needs 1000's and free. If you dont like th clothing or want to add more, you can use the base meshs create your hearts desire and load it into fuse to be rigged into any character build.
The Skin Textures, Weight Painting, And Preset Animation in Make Human Are BAD in comparison

Adobe Bought Fuse because it was the best in the market.
