All you need to know. The method is the same, except the portrait folder should in the bg2ee folder in My Documents.

It works exactly the same, if you knew how to do it with BG:EE then you already know how to do it with BG2:EE.

BG:EE should be the same as BG2:EE I copy and past the portraits folder into the BG2:EE and it does not work.

Hey new question I must have chosen a portrait that was in baldurs gate ee but not BG2ee, because when i start the game my portrait is a giant question mark. Any ideas on how to fix that one?

Works for me. Place your portraits in this directory:

C:\Users\Lantis\Documents\Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition\Portraits

Note that instead of "Lantis" it will be your user name. Afterwards, relaunch the game. When you create a new character, select your gender. In the apperance screen, click the "Custom" button (not import button).

Is there a limit to the number of portraits that the game will allow? I installed a zip of portraits into the directory and only got 23 custom ones to show up, the rest were just black. All the original game portraits were visible.
