Items to Carry to ToB?

About to finish SoA and start ToB. I am looking for a list of all weapons, items, etc. that are unique to SoA but used in ToB. Things like the Flail of Ages, Cloak of Protection+2, Etc.

That would be an epic, perhaps galactic, list. And too many variables, like what is your class/alignment, which NPCs do you plan to use, what proficiencies do you have, do you want to add Sarevok, etc.? Just for example, if your party is evil to its core, no need for he Holy Avenger. My general rule is this: whatever and whoever is working for you in SoA is what you want in ToB. You might replace or upgrade some of it, but with the exception of Sarevok, if you want him, no reason to reshuffle your party or gear. That said,...

There is a very simple way around all of this. Do at least the first room of Watcher's Keep before you leave SoA (the one to left of the entrance has 4 containers.) Now you can drop anything you might think you need for ToB there. Just store it up. If you need it, you can easily get there from the Pocket Plane. And if not, you can sell it to the Watcher Knights (until you finish WK.)

Sorry. Let me clarify. I am specifically looking for the Items that carry over from SoA that can be crafted/upgraded. I will likely sell off the rest. I probably have close to 200 weapons/armor/items in my keep. I know SOME of them can be upgraded. I just want to know which ones. And I have not touched WK yet. Was waiting to get Sarevok.

After a point, you'll still have access to Watcher's Keep. So you can still go back and obtain items from that area while you go through ToB.

Also, anything that Cromwell can upgrade also can be upgraded by a character you'll encounter in the "central hub" of ToB. Your contact there can even enhance more items, or make some of the ones you carried from Cromwell even more powerful. If you want a list of items that can be upgraded I'll post the link here - just watch out for spoilers.

Okay. It looks like there are only 4 items:

Flail of Ages
Cloak of Protection +2
Bladesinger Chain
Carsomyr

Almost everything else is Watcher's Keep.

I don't understand your request, for instance staff of the rams is in SoA and can be upgraded in ToB.

Firetooth, the Crossbow that you can buy from the Knight Merchant in WK. Is +4 and can be +5 (or +6?)

Most of TOB upgradeables is found (or the parts are found) in TOB. A lot of components are found in WK.

You can also just sell all your 200 + items to the merchant in WK and just buy back the few items that you need. You will have insane amounts of money in TOB.

I'd agree with the list of 4 SoA items mentioned, if you count Watcher's Keep as a ToB area. My only addition would be the Gold Pantaloons and Silver Pantalettes.

Watcher's Keep is original ToB content, but merged into the SoA base game world.

And yes, most of the upgrade options with Cespenar are for ToB items. The mentioned four items are from SoA indeed.

The silver pantaloons and the gold pantaloons. Though the gold ones are BG1 imported cahracter only and the silver ones are EXTREMELY easy to miss.

e: if you missed gold and silver you can try to use EEkeeper to edit an item slot in your inventory to contain an item. Look them up in the item id list and change your slot to match it
