Advice for Succubi
So I'm in Watchers Keep, I believe I'm at the 3rd level where I have to move through portals. I have run into somwthing of a snag though. The room before the succubi negates magic being cast or enhancements holding so I cannot cast Chaotic Commands and these succubi can charm like you or I can breathe and what's worse is that there is no save throw. Other than tracking down the Helm of charm protection that I sold I can't think of a defence against this. Is the non saving throw charm normal?

Watcher's Keep is a seriously nasty place, though the first two levels are cake walks. Once you get down under the teleport maze it starts getting really dangerous.

There are actually quite a lot of Helms of Charm Protection floating around in the game, especially with the new EE so that's a plus. Charm Protection is probably one of the more common immunities present in the game, though it does mean a bit of planning to bring the gear.

NPCs first since they're easy:
If you have Keldorn in your party he has Charm Immunity (Inquisitors rule).
If you have Minsc in your party, just throw him forward and set him to Berserk.
If you have Valygar Corthala in your party, his armor grants him Charm Immunity.

The Caster Take-Backs solution:
One thing you might consider, and this is pretty maddening in itself, is having your casters memorize a lot of charm and domination spells. Every time one of your party members gets charmed, charm him right back!!! It gets absurd, but it can work and it only has to work long enough for the other guys to die first.

Mordy's Sword of Illithid Obliteration:
Other good spells are things like Mordenkainen's Sword. Throw it out ahead of you to draw aggro. Lots of enemies will waste spells like Charm on the sword... which is perfectly safe from such effects. And immune to most damage.

Magic Immunity:
Another is Polymorph stuff, like the cloak of the sewers. Anyone who can polymorph into a mustard jelly will get 100% magic resistance and thus won't be charmable. Speaking of magic resistance... Scrolls of Protection from Magic. These are worth their weight in californium (second most expensive subastance on Earth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Californium)... but... if you have them they could get you out of a bind here. Immune to magic means immune to charm after all.

Also don't quote me on this, but I do believe that Minor Globe of Invulnerability will stop Charm spells from hitting your casters. If Minor doesn't, Globe of Invulnerability will.

Being Untargetable:
Invisibility. Anyone who can drink potions of invisibility or hide in shadows without failing or cast invisibility on themselves should do so. While you're invisible they can't target you with their Charm spells. I do believe Khalid had a saying about the better part of valor... anyhow, those Succubi might just be too much for you at your current level of experience and equipment. You may be better off sneaking past them and living to fight another day.

The Equipment Solution:
The guarded compound in the Temple District has a Helmet of Charm Protection.
A group of mercenaries in the Temple District Sewers have another Helmet of Charm Protection.
The Harper Stronghold in the Docks has a third Helmet of Charm Protection.
I believe Hexxat's quest (though I am loathe to speak of it...) provides the fourth and fifth Helmets of Charm Protection.
I believe Dorn's quest line rewards a helm called "The Visage" which grants immunity to lots of mind effects including charm.

If you can assemble all the pieces for the Equalizer that also has Charm Immunity.
Lilarcor, a magical 2-handed +3 Sword can be acquired from the sewers under the Slums and it grants Charm and Confusion Immunity... as well as a bit of conversation.
A quest line in Trademeet grants you the Shield of Harmony, which grants protection from Charm, Confusion, Domination, & Hold.
While completing that quest from Trademeet, you'll come across the Spear of the Unicorn which grants Charm Protection.
Rescuing Haer'Dalis from the Planar Prison will get you Adjatha the Drinker, a long sword that grants Charm Immunity.

For more temporary solutions:
Greenstone Amulets if you can find a few.
Potions of Clarity (but I save those for Mind Flayers usually because they're amazing).

No problem. It's rather unfortunate that so little of my advice can work without leaving the Keep and returning.
