bard weapon proficiency

So if a bard has a lyre in it's offhand does it count as sword and shield or single weapon style? Or have no effect whatsoever because i looked before and after I leveled and I see no change in thaco and damage whatsoever.

When I put a point into a specific weapon's style it clearly shows the difference.

In BG2 an instrument isn't equipped in your hands, it's placed in the quick-item slot if it has abilities. If you're using a mod to equip your Lyre, check the mod's documentation.

That aside, Single Weapon Style applies only to 1-handed melee weapons if the offhand is empty.
