Weapons mod?
Are there any mods that add new weapon types into the game? I imagine greathammers and greataxes would be a blast and a half.

You may find something useful in this :)
I think there might be an issue with baldursgatemods.com - it redirected me to a scam site.

There are many more, of course. Maybe you look into some of the above first.

I'll give that one a shot - I'm concerned that forgotten armament would clash with some other mods I have installed, and I've already got Under-Represented items. This one definitely looks good - it solves the problem of several items becoming irrelevant late game, and certainly makes a few builds I'm looking at seem more viable.

No need for SOD->BG2, I don't have SOD.

I gave wares of the planes a look, but given that a lot of it looks like early game material, I think I'll give it a pass.

What do you think it is going to clash with? I use a number of item mods, and I built Forgotten Armament to work alongside many of them. I don't think there are any item mods its doesn't work with.

Under represented items, but if you think they'll all play nicely together, I'll give it the old college try.
CD Tweaks has an option to make some weapons two-handed optionally.

Yes, this works well with underrepresented items mod and I run the two together. Forgotten Armament and Tactics Remix add 2h axes throughout, so you can use it as a viable weapon.
