(although if the character had dream-abilities from BG1, then they'll keep them when imported into SoA in a later-slot position, the abilities might even be upgraded if you're importing them into ToB)
1) There is absolutely NO way to have more than one stronghold in unmodded BG2. The game is hard-coded this way. A multi-class PC gets a choice (but not both). No strongholds for player-generated NPCs or other NPCs.
2) CD Tweaks allows you an "All Strongholds" option where a player of any class can acquire all the possible strongholds. I always enable this option. The Cleric and Bard strongholds are way more fun to play than the classes that go with them! (Note: You can only have one cleric stronghold as their quests make them mutually exclusive. The one you are offered is based on your alignment.)
Oh, and there is now another mod option: NPC strongholds. This means Imoen can get the Planar Sphere, Minsc the Ranger Cabin, and so on.
And then Boo tricks Minsk into handing over the cabin.....
