Decision Time: Abazigal or Sendai?
Here is a discussion I have not seen, at least not recently. You have done all you can in Amkethran, finished Watcher's Keep (I did in SoA), and done all the companion quests you could (which maybe you should have saved.) Now you have nothing left but to go after Abazigal or Sendai next. Which do you choose?

In my present game, I have a cavalier with both holy swords and all the other components for the Big Metal Unit (and all the other item upgrades you can make from either dungeon.) But I am asking less for advice on this run than what others generally prefer? Do you choose based on which ultimate items you want to use the longest? Or because you think one is easier than the other? Flip a coin?

I usually choose based on which ultimate items I'd like to use longer, and even spec'd out characters with Halbards and Spears just because those ultimate items are available earlier (the +6 spear is surprisingly decent against Melissan).

I'm always going after Abazigal, the last. Simply because his son is a real nuisance! He has always decimated my party in the most gruesome way possible. :crusader_helmet:

This, this person speaks for my main thief character.

Every single time his son transform into his dragon form, my main thief was always stuck under his dragon sprite, causing the dragon to always shred my char in 2 seconds when everyone gets blasted and pushed away by its wing blast, even a direct healing spell can’t reach me since the dragon sprite was constantly in the way

Yeah I agree with the above usually Sendai is one of the earlier targets since she's easier, Abazigal is probably the toughest out of the bunch to beat. The dungeon part is overall tougher with Abazigail with his son and such, he is also lvl 30 with 290 hp -12 AC 3APR or 200 hp in dragon form immune to elec dmg in both forms and 65% MR, dragon form is also immune to time stop and has 40% res to all physical dmg. While Sendai is a lvl 20 Cleric/Mage with 182 hp -8AC 1APR and 84% MR.

Sendai is fairly weak against physical attackers since you can crit on her and using remove magic makes her especially weak, very tough vs magic unless you lower her resistance but no resistance against fire. Abazigail on the other hand is fairly strong against everything and immune to crits.

Sendai's items are pretty meh while Abazigail drops one of the best two handed swords and a flail of ages which can make it complete if you run with it which will give it a big upgrade. Both are great weapons especially the +5 flail of ages in my opinion.

Depending on what you want to have Cespenar make for you...usually Sendai because there's a couple of components there. It's a pretty marginal choice though.
