Panicked merchant

Hi, i have a problem.
I fought the slavers in the Copper coronet and now Joluv the merchant is always in red mode, constently fleeing.
How to fix that please?

Likely he was caught in friendly fire when you were not careful enough with area damage spells.

When that happens to me, I reload a previous quicksave and do the fight again, avoiding friendly fire. I've never used the console or an external tool to "fix" anything like that.

Yeah, Infinities' "once hostile always hostile" bit of AI is just silly. Your best bet is to either reload (If you have a save handy.) or to look up his ID and spawn a fresh version if you are ok with either killing the "red" version of him or having two of them in world.

I'm not aware of any easy way to switch him out of hostile mode.

İ dont know but you can try to cast dominate spell on him. Maybe will works im not sure. Then click dialogue button and use on him.

Charm spells won't help. Activate the console and enter:

C:CreateCreature("wmart1")

It will create new Joluv, with whom you can interact.

Thank you for all your answers but i had to use a very old save and be cautious to not hit any innocent people inside the inn and joluv trade with me now
