This game is the enhanced version of an old game. In the past, Shadows of Amn installed separated from Throne of Bhaal (thus the adventure ended at chapter 7). If no Throne of Bhaal was installed, the lvl cap was 2.95m XP.
Enhanced Edition mad SoA and ToB the same game, thus there's no talk anymore of xp cap of 2.95m, it's always 8m.
