The she is truly offended, and leaves permanently.
If you have a low rep when you are Summoned to the Harpers, she may not join the fight, but stand idle, not member of your party for the fight. She will then turn hostile if she is hit by spells like Fireball, so it can be a difficult fight. But if you defeat them, she may rejoin you.
This is a rather "rare" occation, as most players have some reputation once this quest starts.
If your rep is very low (about 4 or less i think (don't remember), she turns on main char.
