Haer'Dalis Question: BG II EE (SPOILERS)
I cant find much about him on the wiki or steam ATM.
I had Haer'Dalis join the party after I freed him from mind control.
I got the portal key gem and returned to his acting troupe with it.
I then rescued them from astral prison and asked him to wait at the inn.
Now when I try to recruit him he says he doesn't want to join the party?
Im not too broken up over it but I like to play as many characters side stories as possible and i read there was some romance between him and Aerie that I don't think I found in my first play through almost a decade ago. I did remember Minsc claims Aerie as his new witch for his dejemma and I was hoping to keep them together and swap them in and out as a full party to see how it plays out.

You must not be selecting the right dialogue option.

HD is petty and will only join if you apologize for leaving him there.

I felt like I was pretty compliant with all his requests only the last time I asked him to wait at the inn. O well I'll try to get him ng+ i guess.
He's a weirdo for sure. I dont really like him much but I do like Aerie helping Minsc with his djemma by being his witch and sort of imagined them in their own party trio when theyre not adventuring with the bhaalspawn. After Aerie leaves the circus I want her to find her place in the world. He seems like he would get Aerie in a lot of trouble with his crazy ideas but still I imagine it would be an interesting dynamic

I don't see an option to apologize unfortunately :p

i dont see any dialogue options. He just dismisses me when i talk to him at the five flagons.
lol im glad it doesnt work out to be honest. Dude is out of his mind.
Still i like to see as much dialogue as possible.

Are you talking to him with the main protagonist or with a companion? Some characters only want to talk to the former.

Im not sure if i had my MC selected. Ill go back and try after i finish up in trademeet and beat firkrage

Yeah I think I must have had a companion talk to him before. I got the option to apologize but I have no idea what for lol. Anyway I have the option to recruit him now thanks.
