How can I change Hexxat portrait?

If your character is a racist then why put her into your party at all? Whatever...

Find a portrait you like, rename it to her portrait names, then put those into your override folder. You find the override folder in your BG2 EE root folder.

Here is a list that contains the portrait names of your companions:

The ending letter stand for the portrait size so make sure to name your new Hexxat portraits correctly:

(S)mall - (M)edium - (L)arge

You can also make custom portraits for her with this online tool, then rezise the Large portrait to medium and small:

Just make sure that if you use art from somebody else then you can only use it for personal use and not upload the custom portraits on the internet.

Changing the portrait seems that the player more than his character is disturbed by the color of her skin...

I also tried using EEkeeper to specifically change portraits to all white racism squad, alas, unsuccessfully because it somehow fails to see save files, or character files, or any other files

Get your new portrait. Make 3 copies of it and rename them to
-OHHEXXS.bmp
-OHHEXXM.bmp
-OHHEXXL.bmp

Then place them inside
...Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition\override

This thread got me the creeps!!

I don't like Hexxat Portrait either (the day i learn how to mess with new portraits i will change it to Zoe Kravitz or Zoe Saldana), but be bothered by the party portrait skin color is a new thing for me (specially in Forgotten Realms where Drow is the epitome of beauty, despite their wicked nature).

cuz she started white,

that said its unlikely racism would exist when things like orcs and goblins and such exist to target our hatred better.

Agreed. Nothing better to avoid internal bias (inside human race) than external targets.

Racist exist in Faerun, but most between humans and demi-humans as you said or against hybrids (half-elvens, half-orcs and Dhamphyrs).

Chult (where most of the dark skinned human ethnics live in Faerun) is an autonomous State and was never submited to any invasion from the countries of the North, thus there's no space to simulate the same kind of racism that exist in our history (that came from dominance and slavery of invaded folk), so OP request has no base, at least from a roleplay PoV (can't speak about his personal PoV).

Last play through I did her quest, let her die in the sun, then kicked her out of my party dead and used her carrying container as a free unlimited bag of holding for the whole game.

I did not feel bad about it at all.
