Saerk... Is that it?
I finally got Anomen's attention (don't know why the romance didn't trigger on previous playthroughs) and made it to the part where he gets proof of Saerk's guilt and confronts the man. You have to once again dissuade him from taking justice in his own hands (which is hypocritical, since Charname, like most adventurers, does that all the time), after what Anomen promises that he will have Saerk put in prison.

So... How do I do that? I tried a few buildings: the government, the prison, Anomen's home and the Radiant Heart, but no such dialogue option comes up. On the web, it says that Saerk turns himself in, but I didn't see that.

After confronting Saerk you have to talk to Anomens Father again i think, and refuse to revenge his siter by murder. Then you go to the commander in the Goverment district and tell on Saerk, and when you learn there is not good enough proof and nothing is to be done to Saerk, you again must decline murder / revenge.

Then you will eventually be told to go to the Radiant Knights and Anomen will receive honorary Paladinhood.

If at any time you choose to attack Saerk, you mayt do so, but Anomen will fail his knighthood mini quest. The Quest will still end normally, but Anomen will become a bitter & sour man, and not receive Tyrs Blessing (bonus to Wisdom).

And no, Saerk will not commit to guilt by turning himself in. The only "true" revenge is to kill him, but his daughter will run in on the event and Anomen will kill her, an innocent. And thus fail. Saerk will admit beeing culprit in the talks with the party, but laugh at and mock Anomen.

If you are romancing Anomen, the quest does not end there.

Sir Anomen is later told that proof was finally found of Saerk being the murderer, that his father went to confront Saerk, and that now both his sister and his father are dead. Furious, Sir Anomen leaves the party and goes to Saerk's estate. In order to continue the romance, you must follow him and once again tell him to stay his hand. Sir Anomen ends up giving a lecture to Saerk that more or less goes "You have a daughter too. What will she think of you? I swear to have you put in prison".

But then I don't see any way to make good on that promise, which is what I was asking about.

I haven't played the version where you romance a disgraced Anomen, but apparently it changes the past as well because now Saerk is found to have been innocent. Here, you must convince Anomen to not kill his father.
