Ammo belt
Is there any possibility of adding an ammo belt to a shopkeeper or as loot sometime before Watcher's Keep?

original Baldur's gate had a ammo limit of 40 per stack, EE raises it to 80.

Siege of dragonspear has one I think.

Neera adds a gem bag so thats one they got into the game.

dont personally like ammo belts, you got your ranged weapon units maybe, and your melee units, the melee units can carry 240 rounds for your ranged units. in their ranged ammo slots.

and I dont need to dig it out of bags.

what I'm saying is if I wanted to cheat in a bag, I'd just increase the stack size limit to 999.

I hate digging things out of bags and it is functionally not game changing provided you have a 6 man party, just reduces tedious factors of the putting things in and taking things out of bags.

but you got a mage with 50lbs of carry weight and 12 inventory slots and 3 ammo slots. thats 1200 rounds of ammunity carry space. well not the throwing axes.

its not a significant gameplay, and decent quality of life change to simply have larger stack sizes.

potions used to go to size 5 and arrows to 40. EE goes to 25 and 80.

The original Baldur's Gate had an ammo stack limit of 20. It also had no inventory containers like gem bags, scroll cases, and such. I remember that inventory nightmare very well.

I don't remember at what point it went to 40. It might have been the TofSC expansion, or it might have been that mod that eventually came out for BGI that emulated the BGII GUI. I think Baldur's Gate Ii originally started with ammo stacks limited to 40.

I fire 20 rounds of ammo in the first round of combat. what the hell were they thinking? although that makes the enemies 3 stacks of 20 arrows make a lot more sense.

It wasn't TofSC; because I had original TofSC and it was still 20 there. Absolute madness.
