Overall I would say BG2 is longer than BG1 but it depends a lot on how good you are with the fights (or if you cheese) because BG2 has a lot of tough fights.
Have you done the non city quests like Nalia castle, trademeet, druide grove, windspearhills & umar hills?
Of course, i killed the fire and shadow dragon too. My party is between level 13 and 15.
the weird house that consumed one of your gems? I personally consider them tougher, but if you can take out kangaxx without relying on too much cheese you can probably take them out as well.
step by step guide), but exploring every inch squared.
the game has less mindless wandering and low level stuff than BG1. so I expect it shouldn't take you quite as long. if you managed to take BG1 in 155 hours, I'd cut BG2 down to lets say 100 hours. alot less reading of skills and items because you are already familiar with the system?
I'm trying to scale up I think its like 80 hours for BG1 and 60 hours for BG2.
As for steam hours, everyone knows they're bugged so there really isnt any comparison any more than there is saying who the coolest movie star or sports player is.
