Its in the northeast map corner. Theres a little bridge that you have to cross under left to right.

Nope. @abbyzero's description is accurate. Don't cross the bridge. Go down right before the bridge to the ogre's tower. That's number 11 here:

The fact that you had to correct the description (to its exact opposite) suggests that the description was not accurate.
