Where's Wilson?

The information I've looked up so far is incredible vague and all I've heard so far is "In Tradesmeet, near Rasaad's Temple". I'm in Trademeet, but I can't find... anything really.

Okay, I've figured it out. Slight spoilers ahead.
1) Visit the Bridge District in the first city during the day to trigger meeting Neera
2) Go anywhere else in the city to trigger another conversation with Neera and agree to go to the camp with her
3) Go though the wild forest dungeon to reach camp
4) Speak with the stoner in the back of the camp until you get the "Where's Wilson" quest
5) Go to Tradesmeet (talk to the man in the Gate District about it if you don't have it on your map)
6) Go to the temple during the day to recruit Rasaad
7) Go to the amphitheater and meet with the heretics
8) Resist the urge to beat Leerasaad Jenkins to death for picking a fight with over half a dozen monks
9) Loot the scroll explaining where the temple is from the dead heretics
10) Go to the Temple
11) Cross the bridge to the temple then immediately go right to cages
12) Speak to the noble ursine in the cage until his jailer interrupts
13) Haggle for the freedom of your friend to be until you hit the price of "a grizzly death to those who would cage such regal souls"
14) Return to the map entrance to reunite with and finally recruit your new best friend Lord Wilson Bearington Esquire

Oh right, neera's wild mage quest.

On one hand if you don't do them the wild mage in question literally dies.

and on the other hand theres that quest where you go and try to collect some wild cats. I Save the little girl, everyone else dies.

This quest should be called where's waldo. I freed wilson by making the jailor fight to death, but wilson is nowhere to be found. I am checking all over including the NW area near the entrance where he is supposed to be located

He SHOULD be near the entrance. Check for any side paths that you can find, even if it means rubbing up against the walls. If that doesn't work, try kicking a party member out to have an open slot. If THAT doesn't work, try loading an earlier save and doing the quest again.

I instead spawned him using

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("wilson9")
and then talked to him, but he didn't join so i then
ctrl+q him to force him to join the party.

My last save was a good while ago
