Bag of Holding?

I have a ton of money but have yet had the opportunity to buy one? Where do they sell it? I've reached Spellhold and don't think I've seen one yet?

I checked the wiki, but doesn't that refer to the first BG game?

They are not for sale in SoA. There is one that you can get by finishing Hexxat's first quest, which I always do. The second is in the Spellhold Dungeon, right after Bodhi give here little speech, if you head up the stairs to the North there is a door and a room where the Bag of Holding is in one of the containers. You have to fight to get it...that's all I'll say.

bags of holding are...useful, but once you get to throne of bhaal you can just store things in the containers in your pocket plane.

You can buy additional bags of holding in ToB (in case you want to take all the magical junk to a shop) but until then you are unfortunately out of luck.

I have a really bad habit of A. Playing a game for a short while then coming back to it months later. B. Seeing shiny new games in Steam sales and playing them instead.

There's still Dagomir's Respite that you can get by doing Hexxat's first quest and there is another one that I think has unlimited storage somewhere in Watcher's Keep. The one in Spell Hold and Dagomir's respite max out at 100 items, 99 for Dagomir's Respite because there's a coffin in it for Hexxat, don't try to remove it, it will lock in your inventory and is impossibly heavy. Don't even click on it in the bag as I recall.

That quest has to be done before you leave for Spellhold because Hexxat disappears from the Copper Coronet when you set sail.

I don't know if what the previous poster said is true or not since one of the first things I do when I get out of Irenicus's facility is Hexxat's first quest specifically to get Dagomir's respite. Since I do at least one of her quests, she is always still in the Copper Coronet when I get back from the Underdark.

That being said, you can't go back to Spellhold so you'll be dealing with inventory headaches in the Underdark. One sort of solution is to use the Deep Gnome dormitory and the multiple containers as a sort of warehouse until you are ready to leave. You can sell off your excess inventory to the Deep Gnomes or the Duegar before you leave and try to free up as much inventory space as possible.
