any turn based mods?
i know people say you can just turn on pause at end of ever turn but i hate pauseing as it stops all animations or is there a mod to change the pause screen to were is still has animations just no movements? reason im asking cause i never realized how much better real time games were as turn based games eg pillars of eternity 2

Just go into Options and activate the Auto Pause at the end of each round.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Box

Gold Box series, need dosbox though (games are from 80s / 90s). Or just buy them from gog for 8e with installer and click to play. ("Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Two" and "Dungeons & Dragons: Krynn Series")

I still play them from time to time, good fun. Oh and get "Gold Box Companion" too. For that little boost in gameplay.

Does the gog version of the gold box have the speed fix or does it blink through the NPC turns during combat like the dos versions do on modern machines?

If a dos game does that while running in dosbox you could manually lock the cycles of the emulation rather than the usual auto setting, helps sometimes^^

Speed is ok what i have played the gog versions, didn't have to adjust cycles. There is an ingame speed setting too in game camp so you can adjust it for your liking. And what NIK_F_S said. :)
