Entering Hidden Refuge without Neera in party?
Am I missing some basic piece of info? I brough Neera to Hayes(see screenshot)

Tried Dominating(She was dominated but didn't actually get dominated), charming(same thing), and then eventually brought her to him. Still won't acknowledge her.

Is there a 2nd option I'm missing? I know this game is supposed to give your choices, but this one doesn't seem extremely obvious. One example is the planar sphere, you kill Valygar and bring his corpse to enter the sphere, obviously you can't kill Neera and bring proof, but I can't find the option to ask her to vouch for me. Was there some curio of Neera's in the Wild Forest that I missed that would've allowed her to vouch for me?

EDIT: Tried killing Hayes and picking the door, to no avail.

You need to add Neera to your party.

But why? She's right next to the man.

Planar sphere - Kill Valygar and pick up corpse or add to party.

Enter Hidden refuge - Force someone into your group. Can't ask them to walk 50 meters to vouch for you, must have them in your party. Why?

nobody likes people who get information they don't like so their response it to incessantly ask why.

why do you keep hitting me?

why do you need that big knife and all those plastic bags?

Because one would think that in a DnD-esque game that you would at least have a few simple choices, especially when the choices are so obvious that an idiot can think of them.

You can't do companion quests if the character isn't a companion.

stop.

There are a bunch of side quests inside that are in no way part of Neera's companion quest. I'd be perfectly fine not being able to do her questline without her, but being able to access the refuge should be as simple as saying "Hey, come vouch for us"(at least, simple in DnD terms).
