Cult of the unseeing eye

I come to a blank wall ., IO know this is wehre the cult is but it won;t let me in. What do I need to do?This is one of my last quests.

Did you meet Keldorn there? If not then you didnt receive the quest yet and need to go to the temple first.

Isaw the preacher and the priest from helm told me about the quest. I think. at least it was in my list of things to do.

You need to hear the preacher, be adressed by the priest and *then* go to the right temple to receive the actual task.

yeah little confused here Cult quest is pretty straight forward.

step 1. hear guy talking to crowd cutscene. get told to talk to the priest.
2. talk to the priest accept quest.
3. go into the sewers meet keldorn and either accept him into the party or send him back to the radiant heart exit to the north west.
4. Wander around this area until you meet the cult past some shadows and traps and such. accept his quest for joining the cult without losing your eyes.
5. wander off on his quest to meet the people who give you the next quest behind the locked door you probably found on your way here.
6. go down and meet with the avatar of the forgotten god and retrieve the rod of reversal part 1.
7. go back to the unseeing eye cult and sneak down the stairs, fighting thru undead and beholders until you reach the rod of reversal part 2.
8 use rod of reversal complete on the beholder reducing him to 1 HP and stripping his defenses and deal a killing blow.
9 return the complete rod to the avatar of the forgotten god.
10 return to the temple who gave you the quest.

tried talking to the priest and he tells me he has nothign else to say to me.

Did you go to the temple of helm/ilmater (i always forget which one it is, but its next to the left way out of the district) and talk to the priests in there?

I have done all of tis and I still can;t get in. I may have to skip it this time around. I am still trying to figure out how not to lose my Palidin starts.
