Reviving your dead lover problem

I'm doing this quest now. I found out that i have to put the two things in the hands of the statue at temple ruins. The problem is, that i did umar hills long ago and i noticed that the statue didnt turn gold for me. I have seen videos on youtube and it seems like it should turn gold straight away after you kill the shade lord, but that never happened for me, so im unable to revive Vickie. I was thinking about reloading before the graveyard scene with Bodhi and temporarily remove her from the party, but i dont have a save before that. Any ideas i can do to restore that damned statue? :D

it's not the altar statue. It's the one inside the temple itself i think, the one next to the word puzzle on the ground

There's a statue that has its arms out way inside the temple, you put her and I think the Amaunator token into it.
