Rasaad quest SoA
OK, so I picked up Rasaad solely to do his quest. I completed the big fight just after the four trials, and was wondering if there is more, or it that is it for Rasaad? My journal entry for his quest disappeared, not the usual grayed out with (finished). I am going through solo-ish, only picking up characters for their questlines and would like to drop him if he is done. If there is more, where do I go from here?

I assume by "the big fight" you mean defending the Heretic temple from the Sharran monks? If yes and you released the bear outside, there's nothing more to do there. Next Rassad's quest will be in ToB.

(2 years later) I did the same thing, and discovered 2 possible endings (this is with a male protagonist, so no romance.)

(1) You kill off all the monks, tell Rasaad he is still loyal to the old ways of Selune. The Master of Combat rebuilds the Twofold religion to make a real thing out of the religion started originally by Alorgoth as a fake, but Rasaad is not part of it. He cannot join the new group and his old group won't have him back.

If you do this, it appears that "Rasaad's Journey" quest disappears entirely from your journal. Why does this happen? Is it a bug?

(2) Or with different options in the dialogue tree, Rasaad is convinced to stay behind and become the new leader of the Twofold religion himself. In which case he leaves your party - permanently, and cannot be convinced to rejoin (until you summon him via the Fate Spirit in Throne of Bhaal). By which time, of course, he will be grossly under-powered and under-equipped.

In this case, the "Rasaad's Journey" quest appears complete. But you can't keep him in what appears to be his new faith. The only other character you can "lose" this way is Keldorn if you send him back to his wife.

What implications do either of these actions have, if I were to be a female character and romance him? It's just... weird that the only way you get to keep him in the party is with a non-ending that removes the quest from the journal.

I find the weirdest thing to be the complete disappearance of the quest from the journal. Does the lack of even a "completed" state in this case mean that it won't continue in TOB if you bring him?
