Silencing Lilarcor
So does anyone have an idea on how to shut up Lilarcor, the talking sword? It's a charming concept for... five minutes tops, before he gets really annoying.

I was looking through the sword's file in Near Infinity, and can't find anything related to dialogue triggers or what have you. And I couldn't find any mods that already do this.

If it's a hopeless cause, I can always just cheat in a generic +3 greatsword.

Thats the problem with intelligent weapons from AD&D its very accurate to the origina 1-2 editions🙂

Put another weapon in the next slot and keep it equipped. Also don't turn on customized scripts that will select it. Then when you find another weapon to upgrade later, do so. Silenced (for the most part)

if you imported from Siege of dragonspear the dragon sword which is a +3 two hander isn't too hard to acquire. its on tazok on the way to firkaag.

which is a beastly weapon for most of the game actually if you are a beserker than uses two hander swords.

I FIGURED OUT THE SOLUTION. In Near Infinity, I removed the Conversable flag, and now the sword no longer talks. At all. If anyone's interested, I might throw it up on the Nexus or something. But that's the solution, so may as well consider this topic closed.

Thanks to everyone for being helpful, though.

:D
