BG2 Jaheira romance stuck

The last dialogue with Jaheira was when she talked about "ill wind" etc etc. Those conversations about her and harpers, she doesn't know what to do, after Reviene dialogue. So after that, I think I've gone for like, 20 in game days without any conversation with her, and I kind of felt like something is wrong. I checked some kind of tutorial and it says that dude named Dermin should appear. He hasn't appeared for me. And one more thing, when I manualy click talk with Jaheira, she just says:"Der... Dermin? Is that you? It has been some time." and ofc, nothing happens after that. I've loaded earlier save, and he doesn't appear. I walk around those outside areas (because I read that he appears outside of the city) and nothing.

I have one save, 72 in game days, and that manual talk with Jaheira sentence doesn't appear. But when I load save made in 73rd in game day, that sentence appears when I try manual talk with her. So I am guessing that dude Dermin should maybe appear in that save made in 72nd in game day.

Any fix for this? What do you guys suggest me to do?

When I try using this command it says "Unexpected symbol near char (226)"

My Jaheira romance is on 40 and I wanted to decrease it to 39.

Oh I just saw that EE Keeper comment. Never used that app but it was pretty easy. I fixed the issue by setting love talk to 39. Thank you very much for the help brother.

But guess what? Now he doesn't appears for the 2nd time :D Damn, I hate these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs. Ruining such a great game.

Are you sure you're in the right area (for example, Umar Hills)?

I am traveling between Umar Hills and De'Arnise Keep. Global values for Dermin are set to Appear=9721914, Spawn=3.

And ofc, lovetalk is set to 41.

I read that he should appear after 6 in game days. I pretty much either slept those hours or traveled from different locations.

I am thinking about setting lovetalk to 39 again and doing that first encounter with him one more time. But I would gladly listen to your suggestions since I am pretty much shooting in the dark.

I've done what I said, repeated those dialogues, first encounter with Dermin, traveled around for like 7-8 days, and now global appear value for Dermin is 11167209. Those numbers are bothering me since I read that it should be on 1.

Anyone have some kind of solution ? I realy need help here. Problem is also that I do not have anything else to do in this game. I only have one more quest that I want to complete, and that is Korgan quest. I do not want to go to chapter 7 before finishing this. It has become extremely boring. I see post on Sorcerer's Place forum from 2002. I am literaly going to reply to that post and revive it after 15 years :D Dude who posted it have same problem as me.

I see some dialogues in this guide by Extremist after Dermin adn Terminsel spawning. But maybe they should actually appear before Dermin 2nd spawn. While I was out of game, this dialogue appeared to me.

That should be the first dialogue after the first time you see Dermin.

Thanks brother. I think I am just going to leave the game opened while I am doing other stuff and hopefully Dermin is going to show up himself. Maybe I am going to load previous save so I have something to do at least.

Anyway I fixed this. That Extremist guide kind of confused me. First Dermin spawn was bugged for me. I had to decrease lovetalk to 39 and all went well. 2nd Dermin appearance wasn't bugged. There were bunch of other dialogues that needed to happen before his 2nd appearence and then game itself forced him to appear. Terminsel 2nd appearance is annoying. So anyone who is reading this and having some problems with Jaheira's romance should use this codes if they can't wait for Terminsel to appear.

I know its been years but i would like to thank you guys. I had the same problem and your advices were gold. I changed lovetalk to 39 (mine was 46) than i force spawn and than i advanve time. Than he spawned for the first time.
