How to open open console command while in game?
I looked online and alot of pp say space+CRTL or M+CTRL, but neither work. My prbolem is that in chapter 5, Solaufein in the Drow city tells me to meet him near a cave, but he is glitched and will not show up. I never used console commands in my life, anyone bothers to tell me.
Please be detailed on how to open console command while in game..

I looked into that for 5 minutes yesterday, due to mislocating my golden pantaloons, but I think you have to edit a gamefile to get the console in the enhanced edition. Editing anything makes me go 'nahhh'. I'm sure someone actually helpful will post soon though.

Look in your Documents folder for the BG2EE folder, open it up and then the baldur.lua file (I reccomend using Word Pad). Partway down, you will series of lines that include the text 'Program Options' Add the following line to the list, preferably somewhere in the middle.

SetPrivateProfileString('Program Options','Debug Mode','1')

Save the file and the console should now work. The command is Ctrl-Space

Did you find the Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition folder below \Documents\ at least? What is stored within that folder for you? Have you started the game at least once yet?

Use Wordpad or Notepad to open Baldur.lua. Use an editor that recognizes the individual lines, so you can edit them more easily. If you don't use any editor like that, be more careful when editing the contents of the file.

Oh, and if you deleted anything by accident, better delete the entire file, start the game and let it recreate the file with defaults.

that is the pb cant find lua only baldur called :(
There is no other "Baldur" file in that folder. And depending on what file explorer you use to view the folder's contents, the file name extension may be hidden and displayed only in the file type column.
