And you can see the seeds before you even start a map, so I'm not sure what the point of the guide is either.
Well if you can't see what's special about this seed... I even placed a screenshot at the end of my guide for god's sake.
Yes, 'before you even start a map'. You're very wise, sir, that's very helpful for those who wants the seed AFTER they started a map. I'm all but humbled and I ask the folk here to forgive me for my silliness.
And you haven't played the game enough to realize how completely mediocre that particular seed is. It's a completely average random number.
In 200+ hours played and having 100% completed the achievements, there's either no reason to care what your seed is, or if for some reason you're desperate for a good one; you would want something with far better offerings than that.
You can't build warehouses, electric or water plant, those are the things a "good" seed would have close at hand. In contrast your screenshot shows a completely average typical start location.

Honestly it's very rare to bother caring what your start is, overcoming the map is half the challenge. Even if you wanted to reroll a better start, you just write down the seed before you begin, then restart with a new seed a few times in a row and then pick from the ones you generated. I've only bothered to do that twice, once for monkey blood (because it helps to have specific things near you) and once just for fun on the highest difficulty, and it was to make sure I had electric, water and warehouse. Not the very common stuff you circled, most of which you could build as needed.
