[.90] What triggers Gustav's Special Stock?
I'm a very new player, and have only completed 3 campaign cities. In the second city, I traded with Gustav a bunch and gained access to his special stock at around 76 respect. In the third city, I traded some but "gifted" more, and hit 100 respect without triggering the special stock.

I was not using anyone with Friend of Gustav in either City. I miss the Rocket Launchers! Any help or clarity would be appreciated- thanks!

(PS: I did do a search first, but I couldn't find any firm specifics on the trigger...)

I don't think a 100% respect triggers it. I received his special stock when I had 75% respect.

This is only my personal experience!

The "trigger" isnt a real "trigger" its a random event, like all others.
Because, there are lots of events, the offer for his special stock is "rare".

You do, however, have to have traded with Gustav quite a bit. I never got it when I completely ignored him, but I do agree that it is somewhat random and you need some high respect from him. I always get it at 100%, but it takes a while.

Something I've noticed, is when you trade with him for a bit, he will ask you to find cigars or some stash in the map. Once you go get them and hand them over, do a couple more trades with him, and he will unlock the special stock. Paying for the zombie circus and hiring the girls/guys also seems to help. Just my two cents.

:Horzine: Is the Zombie Circus safe? I never allow them for fear of losing one of my men.

Could be happenstance, but the single time I got his special stock I didn't refuse any of his special offers.

Re the circus, I have had injuries but no fatalaties as a result of going in.

The "Search for Cigars" appeared to me AFTER i have access to the special stock, so its not "needed" only to raise the respect...
