How do you get your city hall?

So under government I noticed it tells me I need to build a city hall in order to set policies? Is this a building I actually need to find or if not, how do I build one?

Several hours into the first game (I went the largest map possible) ever played and finally found / started up my first power plant after 524 days. Looking forward to your continued support. Cheers!

Oky, to get a city hall is "easy" in theory.
After reclaiming enough buildings,you can build a city hall with a builder (or every other, but builder is the fastest.
Just build a city hall like you build farms or housings, but you need to reclaim enough fields (shown in the right upper corner)

Oh I see... ok, so on the EPIC map I still need around 150 buildings to recover so... maybe will try a smaller map game next. Thanks for the reply.

How is he a troll? I started an EPIC map and needed to capture like 95 more buildings too. He may have exaggerated a bit but he's right. I didn't know how to get a city hall either. I just allied with the first faction I met and they just gave me all their land and I was able to build one. I'm now 400+ days into my EPIC map with 5 factions.

Don't stress it Aaron552, This person has been trying to stalk me and other server owners / admins for awhile ever since he was perma banned from our 7Dtd servers. He likes to copy/paste comments and go around to any posts I've responded to as far back as over a year ago (check my original comment date of Feb, 2015).

On the original topic however, I believe back then it actually told me I needed around 150 more blocks to recapture before City Hall would be available. Being on an Epic map, it was insane... infact I still have the save.

Ah. I just bought the game a few days ago. I only heard about it maybe two weeks ago. I only really got it because I saw the huge map in the screenshots and was excited to have a huge map. :D So when I started EPIC, it said I needed 95 more. Might have changed. Like I said, though.. I needed like 40 more and the faction I allied with just gave me all of their land. Was pretty shocked. Right now I'm researching to make my own mod. :)

Yea the EPIC map is literally just that... Many tweaks have been done since then for the better. All the best with your future mod! Cheers!

I downloaded a mod to remove the fog to try and find a lab, but there isn't one on my map.. I'm thinking about restarting until I find one, unless none spawn in custom missions.

After all the time you have spent, your community size is dwindling down to nothing. You have maybe 4 players on a week day while we have 30+. I wonder where you went wrong? So many people applied to your BS whitelist (myself included and approved, which i believe defeats the purpose of it) and yet 95% of them join once and never return once they observe what trash you are. Lets see how hard we can mess up physics, duped oil barrels work wonders. Remember the time you logged in to your underwater admin base and it collapsed? Lets make that happen again, and again, and again.
