It just made the game near impossible to lose, even on the impossibhle.
And like you said, every single map is more of the same. The word tedious doesn't even scratch the surface of it.
I normaly don't play games with the casual appeal, I just bought rebuild 3, because of Sarah... I mean rebuild 2 had a lot of dark humor content, plus it wasn't repetitive (well I only beat the game a single time on the hardest), I just wasn't expecting this game from Sarah, otherwise I would've skipped.
Contrary to other rts which adds different level design, objective goals, gameplay change due playing with different races, on this game it's the exactly same thing over and over, feels like the godzila reaching the regenerator from joe's, it's insane.
The gameplay elements are very over simplified and to make things worse, the amount of goofy silly jokes are far too few and spread betweem, this game tried to take a more serious approach without having a serious gameplay mechanics to sustain it, it feels bad, it really does.
The writting is also weak and ethreal. The survivors doesn't have any appeal to them, I couldn't care less bout them.
If someone plays this game only a single map, then it would be alright, problem is how repetitie it gets, I just can't finish it.
