No Y/X Inputs for password solver?

Hi all, struggling to complete the password solver because it isnt accepting any Y/X keyboard inputs when I make an error, meaning I need to leave the game and restart. Any help?

When you say "X/Y keyboard inputs", are you playing on a keyboard, but it's still displaying that you need to input X or Y? Those inputs are for controllers.

On a keyboard, the undo is "Z" and the reset is "R". It may be displaying incorrectly in the game.

Hi, i hade this same thing happen, played with keyboard and all other mazes used and displayed z/r controls for undo and reset. But the password one did show up as y/x. Was a tad confusing but figured out that it simple seemed to be displayed wrong since z/r still worked :)

Huh. Were you playing on a Steam Deck, by any chance?

Nevermind. I think I understand why this is happening, and I should have a fix out tomorrow.

Nope! PC, my workaround was to just complete it correctly with no errors

While we are at the Password Reminder and keyboard input...
I'm playing with Azerty keyboard and it was a bit confusing that generally in the puzzles the WASD and ZR commands were placed according to Qwerty keyboard (so Z was actually W for me).
But the typed password actually used the Azerty keys. It took me some tries to get that, because of course I was first trying to write the password as it would be done on Qwerty, and I couldn't see what was wrong...

Ah, okay. Thank you for telling me about this bug. Sorry for the bug, that must have been frustrating.

I'm not going to this fix this bug at the moment, because I'm about to replace the typing with a series of letter boxes, similar to the Vault puzzle, so I can have full controller support.
