where to find rubys

hi where can i find rubys on the ocean planet my friend and i only found 7 all together

There are two large ore sources on the hot island.

if you can make warming units, then go to the furthest south arctic island. It is not easily found but it is in the southeast corner of that island.

where is the arctic on the ocean planet i just flew the ship out quite a ways out but i never saw an island

There isn't one. She's confusing Ocean World with Aetheria where the southeastern coldest island has the only ruby source that's proximate to sapphire.

Unless you meant Echo Prime, in which case please tell me where you found ruby on the southern cold island because I could not and I really want to.

I called that planet arctic, because it is blustery and temps hover near subzero most of the time. Just my way of explaining. On your planet analyzer there is a total map of all the "islands" that make up Etheria. Some of these islands are white, blue, red, deep brown. The ruby is in a cave in the southeastern quadrant of this blustery very cold island. Be sure to attempt this only if you have made a warmer for your suit and or have a ton of food. Under those circumstances you will go thru food ridiculously fast!
