how to get steel?
so i am on thee terraformation step of got to the hottest island on echo prime and making a base there but i havent found steel yet is it something i have to craft?

You need to unlock the Alloy Forge to make steel which is an alloy of Iron and Graphene.

You will need to use the Material Analyser on gold ore/gold ingots to unlock the Ally Forge. Prior to that is using the MA on Graphene which will unlock the Carbon Refiner and the Cooling Modules which will help with the hot area.

Once you build an Alloy Forge the different alloy recipes should unlock.

for some reason i didnt even think to check that after unlocking it thank you
