When return to home, how to enter the latest progress (map) of game?

For example, if we have entered 4-1 but when return to home camp I can only enter 1-1.

Same problem here , can't return to the latest chapter where i have been . Is there any button or place i missed ?

You do have to complete all five floors, and the final boss first. Then the 'X' dungeon becomes available, as do all the portals.

It's really not so bad once you get healing emblems and improve your specials.

And save inside the dungeons, of course.
