Lava Mode - Glitch

Found an interesting glitch that allowed me to not die while playing lava mode.

TLDR; Find a ledge that automatically kicks you off (such as the sides of the fortress at the lowest level), open the menu and teleport to the nearest safe location just as you hit the lava.

While trying and failing to do lava mode, I ended falling to the bottom of the map at the start of the game. I read somewhere that it is a good idea to use teleport for the nearest safe location. So, I briefly landed on the edge of the starting area and was immediately kicked off just as I clicked teleport. My screen started to fade and I was back to a safe area, but my mouse was acting like it was in the menu still. Upon opening the menu my mouse worked like normal. Later on, I fell again and prepared to restart. But, I was able to walk around under the lava.

I had this too, however, when i finally made it up to the horse carriage part at the end, I couldn't enter the carriage. Since you can't save in the lava mode you can't really fix it, but I still managed to finish the run using a speedrun tactic to skip that part. You would need to use the wings though.
