Lava speed

Anyone knows what makes lava go faster ? I played with a group of 4 players and the lava was way more slow than when i tried my solo run.

In my solo run o used wings, idk if the wings make the lava go way faster

Tested this a little bit and it seems to be related to framerate. Usually play capped at 144 fps and noticed I climb ladders and stuff faster than my friend who gets about 50 fps. When solo, their lava also moved faster than mine. Decided to test it out. I uncapped my frames and got about 400 fps which made climbing ladders noticeably faster, along with making the lava a lot slower. After that we both capped frames to 30 and now climbed at the same speed, also made the lava move faster.

Lava goes up faster the further you are from it, it will slow down to normal speed once it reach a certain distance from you.

Not to necro this, but Saylor Swift is correct i think. A friend and I were playing our own Solo lava runs and I finished at 1 hour 3 minutes with the lava only like 75% of the way up while i had the game set to 144 fps and my friends lava went over the obstacle course (which is 95% of the way up) at the end at 1 hour 2 minutes when her frames were at the default 60 fps. And when we played a group game, i was the only one with my framerate set higher and i climbed all the ladders faster even though the animation looked the same too.
