my friend mains the mop head and I main the elderly lgbtq+ guy. we recently did the part where you need to run along a path that drops out from underneath you while obstacles fly towards you which required us to constantly run. If there was a difference in their top speeds I would have been dragging him along however we were neck and neck the whole time.
I did notice there was a slight delay between the server and myself. I needed to stand ahead of my friend when he was leading or i wouldn't be able to react to his choices in time and wind up falling behind
It felt like my brother was heavier — whenever I fell down he had no trouble pulling me up, but each time he fell down my character was pulled down by his weight, and sometimes I had trouble pulling him up. That's just the way it felt for me.
But he definitely climbed faster than me. When I start climbing first, he catches up and gets ahead of me every single time. We tried holding and not holding Shift, and every time he climbed faster, and had to wait for me a few times.
Not sure about running speed, but when we were doing jumping sections I was usually getting ahead and then yanked back by the chain, because he was behind.
