Steam Deck and Controllers don't work

Like the title says, I'm using steam deck and xbox one controllers and they straight up don't respond.

tried this last night on my deck, my deck controls, and 2 xbox controllers were a no go either. just tried it on my pc and again the controllers are a no go. What a joke.

Same issue, i couldn’t even get the steam deck inputs to work on this game

Came here with the same question/concern. I did figure out that once you start a game, the controller will work, but I only tested Single Player (ie, Training mode). All menu controls are forced to be mouse/keyboard.

The game, controls, everything.... pretty janky. Hope they fix.
