Dev....pls post a tutorial on inventory System
Great game thus far but the inventory system is very confusing and I have no idea what to do. When I tried to use some items it ended up deleting them from my inventory and I was unable to retrieve the items. Also, what are the icons on the top row and what do they mean??? How are they used???

i have the same issues and I have played the game a lot. BH inventory is not user friendly at all. In other games I like RE I could load a bomb or grenade and etc and then throwing them in the direction I want it to go. With BH I'm throwing blind and I'm hitting walls and killing myself half the time. I haven't figured out how to make bomb ready and then look at where I am in the game and then throw where I want it to go. This works great in RE Village. RE has a really good inventory system with the exception of combining things to make stuff. Creating weapons in BH is the best system I have seen.

Thanks BADBOY....BH is a good game but very, very frustrating on its inventory management. Hoping the Dev will modify this or add a tutorial. And I have played RE and I agree completely with you.

Oh...forgot to ask, what do the icons on the top row of the inventory refer to or mean??

Those are the number of each item you have for your workbench to make things.

Ya, the inventory is hard to understand at first. In other games, you just have to choose (or double-click) an item to use it. Here, in "Hanwell" you have to put the items in the quick-selection to use them. I put the med kits on key "1", Batteries "2" and so on.
Bug/translation-issue: After having used an item a dialogue is popping up, saying "Item removed from inventory"....it should say "Item used successfully" instead.

This is a common sense change, I think I'll go with that, "successfully used" is definately more helpful, thank you for the suggestion.

Updates are slower now because the project file is a mess while I start console porting work, but I'll make the change now ready for when I resume updates.

Thanks again!

I've been enjoying the game immensely, but I've noticed a small area where the gameplay could be enhanced. Specifically, I'd like to suggest a change to the item throwing mechanic.

Currently, it can be difficult to accurately aim thrown items. I believe the experience could be greatly improved if the player could see a visual representation of the item (e.g., a bomb) ready to be thrown as they aim. This would allow for more precise targeting and add a satisfying level of control to the game.

As an example, games like the Resident Evil series have implemented this feature effectively, providing players with a clear indication of where an item will land before it's thrown.

I hope you'll consider this suggestion.

The inventory system is really bad. On more than one occasion I accidently removed a bunch of items I worked hard to get. This definitely needs at the very least a recovery option for items mistakenly removed.
